About JRMerch

Getting Started

  • Log In: Go to jrmerch.com/my-account and sign in. Click Vendor Dashboard to start.

1. Managing Products

Your products are the awesome things you sell, like crafts, toys, or clothes. In the Vendor Dashboard, you can add, change, or remove products. Let’s make your items shine for US customers!

How to Do It

  1. Find the Products Page:
    • Go to jrmerch.com/my-account and log in.
    • Click Vendor Dashboard > Products (on the left).
    • You’ll see any products you’ve added (or an empty list if you’re new).
  2. Add a New Product:
    • Click Add Product (big button at the top).
    • Name: Give your product a fun name (e.g., “Super Cool Stickers”).
    • Type: Pick:
      • Simple Product: One item (e.g., a sticker pack for $5).
      • Variable Product: Different options (e.g., red or blue t-shirts).
    • Price:
      • Regular Price: Set in USD (e.g., $5 for stickers, $20 for t-shirts).
      • Sale Price: Add a discount (e.g., $4 for a special deal).
    • Description:
      • Main Description: Tell buyers why it’s awesome (e.g., “Colorful stickers for your laptop!”).
      • Short Description: Write a quick note (e.g., “5 stickers per pack”).
    • Pictures:
      • Upload a clear photo of your product (at least 500×500 pixels, use JPG or PNG).
      • Add extra photos to show more angles (optional).
    • Categories and Tags:
      • Choose categories JRMerch set up (e.g., Crafts > Stickers).

    • Inventory:

    • To change lots of products, select them, pick “Edit” from the top menu, and update stuff like prices.
  4. Check Product Status:
    • Products can be:
      • Draft: Saved but not sent to JRMerch.
      • Pending: Waiting for JRMerch to say “okay.”
      • Published: Live for customers to buy!

2. Managing Store Front

Your store front is your own shop page at jrmerch.com/vendor/your-shop-name. It’s like your online lemonade stand! You can add a logo, banner, and rules to make it look super cool for US customers.

How to Do It

  1. Go to Store Settings:
    • In Vendor Dashboard, click Settings > Store (left menu).
    • This is where you make your shop awesome!
  2. Set Up Your Shop:
    • Shop Name: Pick a fun name (e.g., “KidzCraftz”). This makes your page URL (e.g., jrmerch.com/vendor/kidzcrafz).
    • Logo: Upload a picture for your shop (200×200 pixels, JPG or PNG). Example: A drawing of your mascot!
    • Banner: Add a big photo for the top of your page (1200×300 pixels). Example: A colorful banner with your products.
    • Description: Write a short story about your shop (e.g., “Hi! I’m Sarah, a kid making fun crafts for everyone!”).
    • Click Save.
  3. Add Shop Rules:
    • Go to Settings > Policies.
    • Shipping Rules: Say how you send products:
      • US: “I use USPS to ship in 5–10 days, about $5–$10.”
      • Note: JRMerch uses USPS for US buyers, so add weights to products.

    • Save. These show on your shop page so buyers know the rules.

3. Keeping Track of Sales, Commission, and Income

When someone buys your products, you make money! The Vendor Dashboard shows your sales (orders), commissions (JRMerch’s share), and income (your payout). Let’s learn how to check it all!

How to Do It

  1. Check Your Sales:
    • Go to Vendor Dashboard > Orders.
    • See a list of who bought your stuff:
      • Order Number: Like #1234.
      • Customer: The buyer’s name.
      • Product: What they bought (e.g., “Stickers”).
      • Total: How much they paid (e.g., $5).
      • Status: Like “Processing” (being made) or “Completed” (done).
    • Click View to see details (e.g., buyer’s address, USPS shipping).
    • When you ship an order, mark it “Shipped” (ask a parent to help).
  2. See Your Commissions:
    • Go to Vendor Dashboard > Reports.
    • Check two tabs:
      • By Product: Shows what sold (e.g., “Stickers: $50 total”).
      • By Date: Shows sales by day or week (e.g., “April: $100”).
    • Commissions: JRMerch takes a small share (e.g., 20%, ask JRMerch).
      • Example: You sell $10 stickers. JRMerch takes $2, you keep $8.

4. How to Register to Be a Vendor

Want to sell on JRMerch? Becoming a vendor is easy! Kids (with parent help) and entrepreneurs can sign up at jrmerch.com/vendor-registration/. Here’s how to start your shop.

How to Do It

  1. Go to the Sign-Up Page:
    • Open your browser and visit jrmerch.com/vendor-registration/.
    • You’ll see a form to become a JRMerch vendor.
  2. Fill Out the Form:
    • First Name: Your name (e.g., “Jake”).
    • Last Name: Your last name (e.g., “Smith”).
    • Email: Your email (or a parent’s, e.g., jake@gmail.com).
    • Shop Name: Pick a cool name (e.g., “Jake’s Crafts”).
    • Username: Choose a login name (e.g., “JakeCrafts”).
    • Password: Make a strong password (e.g., “SuperStar123!”).
    • Phone Number: Add a parent’s phone (e.g., US number).
    • Address: Enter your US address (or ask JRMerch for a helper address).
    • PayPal Email: Add a PayPal email for payments (use a parent’s).
    • Message to Admin: Write why you want to sell (e.g., “I’m a kid who loves making stickers!”).
    • Check “I agree to the terms” (ask a parent to read them).
    • Click Submit.

    • JRMerch checks your form (1–3 days).

5. Memberships

JRMerch offers memberships to help you sell more and grow your shop! There are three plans to choose from, perfect for kids and entrepreneurs. Check them out at jrmerch.com/memberships/ (we’ll skip the Learning Hub here, as requested). Pick a plan to make your shop even better!

How to Do It

  1. Learn About Memberships:
    • Visit jrmerch.com/memberships/ to see the plans:
      • Basic Plan :
        • Sell up to 10 products.
        • Get a shop page (e.g., jrmerch.com/vendor/your-shop).
        • Perfect for kids starting out (e.g., selling stickers for $5).
      • Standard Plan :
        • Sell up to 50 products.
        • Add more photos and categories.
        • Great for growing shops (e.g., t-shirts and crafts).
      • Premium Plan :
        • Sell unlimited products.
        • Get priority support and extra shop features.
        • Best for big entrepreneurs (e.g., selling lots of gadgets).
    • Note: Prices are in USD. Ask a parent to help pay (e.g., via PayPal).
  2. Choose a Membership:

    • Sign Up:

    • In Settings > Shipping, add a US zone with flat rates (e.g., “USPS Mail, $5–$10”). JRMerch is adding better shipping tools soon!
    • Use a US helper address (ask JRMerch, ~$10/month) if shipping from outside the US.
