1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Junior Merchants (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the Platform. If the user is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on their behalf.

2. Nature of the Platform

Junior Merchants is a marketplace platform facilitating transactions between users. We do not own, sell, manufacture, store, or ship any products listed by users. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

3. No Liability for Transactions or Products

• Junior Merchants is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of products listed.

• All transactions are the sole responsibility of the buyer and seller.

• We do not offer refunds, returns, or chargebacks. Disputes must be resolved between buyers and sellers.

• Junior Merchants is not liable for damages, injuries, or legal claims arising from any product purchased on the platform.

4. Parental Responsibility & Compliance with Child Labor Laws

• Junior Merchants does not employ or contract minors.

• Parents/guardians must oversee their child’s activities and transactions.

• Parents are financially and legally responsible for any actions taken by their child on the Platform.

• The Platform is for entrepreneurial learning purposes only and does not constitute an employer-employee relationship.

5. Prohibited Items & Intellectual Property Compliance

Users may not list, sell, or distribute:

• Illegal, counterfeit, or stolen goods.

• Weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or hazardous materials.

• Copyrighted or trademarked goods without authorization.

• Any item violating U.S. laws, including those related to child labor, safety, and intellectual property.

Junior Merchants is not responsible for copyright or trademark violations committed by users. If notified of infringement, we may remove content and suspend accounts at our sole discretion.

6. Account Termination & Violations

• Junior Merchants reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for violations of these terms.

• We may remove any listing or user at our discretion.

• No refunds will be provided for suspended or terminated accounts.

7. Payment Processing & Fees

• All transactions are processed via third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).

• Junior Merchants is not responsible for payment failures, delays, or chargebacks.

• Fees may apply to listings, transactions, or subscriptions and are subject to change.

8. Indemnification & Legal Waiver

• Users and parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Junior Merchants, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the Platform.

• Junior Merchants is not liable for lost profits, reputational harm, data loss, or indirect damages.

9. Dispute Resolution & No Class Actions

• Disputes must be resolved directly between buyers and sellers.

• Users waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits against Junior Merchants.

10. Governing Law & Changes to Terms

• These terms are governed by the laws of Louisiana, USA.

• Junior Merchants may update these terms at any time, with changes taking effect upon posting.

By using Junior Merchants, you expressly acknowledge and accept these terms, releasing Junior Merchants from all liabilities.

Parental Consent & Legal Acknowledgments

Parental Authorization for Participation

I authorize my child to create an account and participate in Junior Merchants.

COPPA Compliance & Data Collection Consent

I consent to Junior Merchants collecting and using my child’s information in accordance with COPPA.

Financial & Earnings Authorization

I acknowledge financial responsibility for my child’s transactions, including taxes and reporting requirements.

Safety & Security Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that Junior Merchants does not facilitate in-person meetups and operates solely as an online platform.

5️⃣ Liability Waiver & Platform Policies

🔹 No Platform Liability

• Junior Merchants is not responsible for product quality, safety, or delivery issues.

• Junior Merchants does not provide refunds or handle disputes directly.

• Users (parents) are fully responsible for ensuring that transactions comply with all applicable laws, taxes, and financial obligations.

🔹 Prohibited Items & Seller Responsibilities

• Sellers must not list prohibited items (weapons, counterfeit goods, restricted items, etc.).

• False or misleading product descriptions are grounds for account suspension.

I understand and accept the seller responsibilities and prohibited item policies.

🔹 Payment Processing & Fees

• Junior Merchants uses third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, etc.), and we are not responsible for payment failures or delays.

• Transaction and service fees apply as per the current fee structure.

I acknowledge the transaction fees and payment processing policies.

🔹 Account Termination & Violations

• Junior Merchants reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account violating our policies.

• Parents are responsible for monitoring their child’s activity and ensuring compliance.

I acknowledge and accept Junior Merchants’ rights to terminate or suspend accounts as necessary.
